INTRODUCATION

Instructional design is a systematic, repetitive process of activities aimed to creating a solution for an instructional problem. ( Fenrich, 2008, p.132). This instructional design document is prepared for class 10th Mathematics students and follows the curriculum recommended by NCERT, Delhi. This IDD for an online course and is expected that the students are familiar with basics of working on a computer. This IDD follows the generic ADDIE model, which is Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate.  Mathematics is a very interesting and challengeable subject. Teaching of math develops Critical thinking, reasoning, creativity, discipline and characteristic abilities among the students. So the assessment of learner shall focus on learner’s development in areas like Knowledge (K), Understanding (U), Application (A), Analysis(A) and Creativity (C).
A time line also has been planned for the course. This online course will require active participation of the Teacher as well as the learner. Here teacher is the facilitator or moderator in the need arises.
